ABOUT
The Williams County Veterans Memorial is located on the Williams County Fairgrounds, 875 E Main Street Montpelier, OH 43543. The exterior monument park, consisting of a flag display, fifteen chevrons honoring the service of over thirteen thousand-five hundred Veterans from Williams County from the Revolutionary War to present and a monument dedicated to all who lost their lives in the service of our nation due to Combat wounds, Chemical-Biological-Radiological Exposure, Training Accidents or lost a personal battle with Post Traumatic Stress/Traumatic Brain Injury, is open to the public from dawn to dusk. The Octagon, an area of the building dedicated to the nearly five hundred residents of Williams County who lost their lives while in service, is open on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and by appointment.  The Memorial Hall is available for rentals by calling 1-419-265-7720

New Monument Dedicated in Williams County

A new monument was dedicated on the grounds of the Williams County Veterans Memorial in Montpelier on Memorial Day. The monument is dedicated to all who died of combat wounds, exposure to chemicals (Agent Orange), biologicals (Burn Pits), radiological (Nuclear Testing) and those who took their own lives due to PTSD. The monument consists of a bronze sculpture of three rifles, .03 Springfield, M-1 Garand, and M-16 with a steel helmet resting on the rifle butts and a bugle resting under the stacked rifles. The base consists of five black granite panels. The monument is open for viewing, but more landscaping in planned with the placement of benches and a flagpole that will fly the flag of our nation at half staff 365 days a year. Engraved Brick Project
You can honor a family member or assist the Veterans Memorial by purchasing a brick or a block as a tribute by yourself or a civic organization.  
A $50.00 donation will purchase a 4 inch by 8 inch engraved brick with the name or saying of your choice.  
A $200.00 donation will purchase a 16 inch by 16 inch block engraved with names or information of your choice.  Artwork can be added to the blocks but prices will vary.
Ordering Information
To place an order for a 4 inch by 8 inch brick, space out the lettering, no more than thirteen letters including spaces on three lines.  
16 inch by 16 inch blocks, space out the lettering, no more than thirteenn letters including spaces on up to seven lines.
